Hi Anne Marie

Tulips do terribly here... we do much better with south african bulbs like watsonias and the like. I dont know anyone who breeds/hybridizes bulbs in the US, but I can talk with you about how the South Africans do in Southern California if that is helpful

Hi, all.
I write for The Wall Street Journal and am working on a story about spring bulbs...tulips and/or daffodils in particular....and I'm looking to talk to plantspeople, hybridizers and the like, about new goings-on in this area, new developments, exciting new hybrids etc
Please shoot me a note here at amc@wsj.com<mailto:amc@wsj.com> with any thoughts-
Thanks,
Anne Marie
