Do you have a photo of this plant.
Early this year I ordered seed with the same name from http://brasilplants.com/. Probably the same source you had. Only got 1 seed to germinate, while the other hippeastrum seeds from brasilplants had over 80% germination.
I'm curious how long it takes before it will flower.
