It has been posted here before I believe that the clone that is most widespread in the trade is evergreen but that wild forms of H papilio have a dormancy. I seem to recall that there was also a suggestion that the common cultivar was not pure H papilio?? Tim Chapman > Mine is most definitely evergreen, or tries to be.
