What about Haemanthus humilis then?.... for me it is in growth for the second half of the Summer and the first half of Winter.... I think of it as an Autumn grower! Crocosmias here are producing their new growth now along with the winter growers, but they continue on through the Summer until next winter... but will pause growth as the cold periods of winter happen. Evergreen plants also have their periods of growth and rest, Haemanthus carneus is evergreen for me but it grows its new leaves in Summer, Haemanthus deformis is also evergreen for me but it is growing its new leaves now alongside deciduous winter growers.
