Fritillaria meleagris

Almost extinct in Holland
but thanks to a few illegal collections
grown by millions now
and still exist in the nature in Holland
probably thanks to the few illegal collections

I tried in 1992 to convince the Cypriot government to do the same with
Tulipa cypria
but it is impossible to talk with those bureaucrats
as far as I know after almost 20 years
there is still no stock from this Tulipa
and it's still collected by the locals
to sell it on the market to tourist
