Hi Mark, According to the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group version 3 (APG III, 2009), the family Themidaceae where Behria belonged is no longer a family. It had been subsumed into Asparagaceae, along with other families we know like Hyacinthaceae and Agavaceae. Instead under Hyacinthaceae they have devised 7 subfamilies (with subfix -oideae). All the previous themids (Triteleia, Brodiaea, Muilla, Behria, etc...) are now under subfamily Brodiaeoideae. We have decided not to follow this scheme on the wiki for various complex reasons. It's a complicated website but you can take a look at it here: http://mobot.org/mobot/research/… Nhu On Tue, Oct 4, 2011 at 11:39 PM, Mark BROWN <brown.mark@wanadoo.fr> wrote: > Dear All, > I too started looking this species up but came upon a block when trying to > read an article of the latest phylogenetic study. > I wanted to know just which family it supposedly now belongs too. >
