There does not seem to be much interest in hybrid lilies among the participants of this list, so I want ot give you a nudge and let you know what you might be missing. I was out in the garden today and measured the height of some lilies: 'Leslie Woodriff' nine feet exactly, 'Dunyazade' about the same, and 'Black Beauty' 7.5 feet. Last year one of the 'Black Beauty' had over 60 buds and blooms - I counted several times, always getting over 60 but a different count each time. These plants do not get special attention in the way of fertilizer or watering. Here they bloom in mid-late July with some spillover into August. Jim McKenney
