Since South African botanists/taxonomists have been doing a very thorough recent study of these same plants and have concluded that 4 genera is more practical than 20, they are unlikely to accept this new breakdown. The South African Biodiversity Institute would be supporting their staff members and not changing the names. So there could very well continue to be two approaches to these plants. We plan to leave them as they are on the wiki, but when there is time for one of us to add the new synonyms and a note about the new paper, we will. Mary Sue
