Species names would be helpful. In my collection those in the mackenii group (brachycyphus, tuckii, mackenii hybrids, obrienii), sanguineus, and montanus remain evergreen, but flanaganii, breviflorus, smithiae, and huttoniae go dormant no matter what I do. If I try to keep them growing I get rot from the bottom up. The same would apply to the summer growing Nerine. They are kept between 50 and up, degrees. I keep them slightly moist. They love it. Best, Jude
