Dear Friends,
	Back to bulbs.

I have grown Lilium davidii from Chinese edible bulbs
originating in Gansu Province. Gansu claims to have the most
delicious form of the species.

It just never gets very big although it blooms and winters
over. Is this species really better suited to Zone 6 or 7 where it
can reach its potential height of of 5 to 7 ft?

I am lucky to get a few flowers per stem, but I know it can
make many per stem.

What success do others have with this edible geophyte?
