I love the colourful maps, and I like Rodger's idea too. Mary Sue suggested a whole new section on climate in the wiki, so both of these will fit nicely. Now to choose the indicator species. That will be fun. Maybe only a resident of an area can nominate their best local bulb, and everyone else can say whether they grow it and how: pot in a greenhouse, sheltered in the garden, no special care needed in the garden, in the garbage can because it ran amok.
