Dear Fellow Bulbophiles, This is the time of year when I, here in Eastern Pennsylvania, USA, zone 6/7 , divide my potted bulbs. I can only grow most crinums, xamarcrinums, and hymenocallis/ismene in pots during our summer, and then I keep them dry and frost-free during the winter. Are there summer growers that all of you have that you divide in the late spring/early summer? And, I am collecting seeds from my winter growers - mostly from the experimental pollen dabbing with hippeastrums, in my case. It is the beginning of the new season for the Pacific Bulb Society BX (Bulb and seed exchange). I plan to share the offspring of my collection with the BX. I hope that you will share too. Best wishes, Dell Dell Sherk, PBS BX
