I believe the old Tarzan movies, several of which which were filmed in the Florida Panhandle, had pileated woodpeckers calling as jungle birds. Doesn't Tarzan have Kookaburras (Australian native kingfisher, for those that don't know it) calling at one point? I seem to recall a discussion about the absurdity of that, somewhen or other. I've often picked up things in backgrounds of TV shows and movies that just aren't possible as "naturally" there, in jungle settings etc. I'm sure my wife rolls her eyes at my plant and bird related comments of that nature. <grin> Cheers.
