What is bloomomg?

I just noticed that my Madagascar Rhodocodon has sent up a bloom spike, an
event that did not happen last year. I had almost forgotten its existance
since the little pot was jammed between my Zephyranthes and Crinum.

Perhaps I should check a couple of my other more stubborn African bulbs to
see if they, too, need more water
