What's the common tenderish Ornithogalum sold in garden centers? I have it labelled as O. thyrsoides, but could it be O. arabicum? My bulbs have never flowered, but rescued from the garden, potted in a very open mix, and kept out of doors, they are starting to grow with the advent of cooler weather. I am cautiously optimistic that I may be able to bring them to flowering. -- Rodger Whitlock Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Maritime Zone 8, a cool Mediterranean climate on beautiful Vancouver Island
