Has anyone on the list successfully germinated Erythrina zehyeri (a caudiciform plant, not a bulb, I admit)? The only directions I can find suggest immersing the seeds in boiling water and then soaking them overnight. I'm always a little worried about what boiling water might do to the embryo - assume the idea is not to use such a large volume of boiling water that the solution can't cool quickly. Anyway, if anyone has experince with this species, I'd be grateful for more information.
