More about Lycoris radiata, free

Hi Gang,

I find that some folks in other countries would enjoy having Lycoris radiata.
I'm wondering if you all have advice on this issue, because I still have
bulbs to give away and suppose I could try sending them to other countries.
Really, postage is not a problem because I suspect it would only cost a few
dollars.

How easy (or difficult) is it to send bulbs to Canada, or to the EU? I know
that some Crinum seeds I once sent to Australia got destroyed because a root
had started to emerge (go figure).

How does the BX work? Maybe I could send international requests to Dell S.,
not that he needs more work. I've benefited time and time again from the
thoughtfulness of PBS readers, I'm happy to help where I can. Obviously, things
are more complicated with an international group; I'm spoiled by offering
"extras" on the Texas Garden Web because instate delivery is fast and easy.

Please, let me know your thoughts.

Cordially,

Joe Shaw
