On my computer if I enable the number lock key, then hold down the ALT
key while typing 0 2 1 5 on the number key pad the symbol × appears.
This even works in Arachnophilia, when I'm writing one of my web site
diary entries.

in bloom, larger bulbs = daffodils, and larger yet, Fritillaria
imperialis entrance me - when I look up from digging and delving and
heaving and hauling in the garden
