Dear Susan:
You will need to know the name of your Moraea or any
additional data for there are Moraeas that will grow in response to the cool
part of the year and others that will only grow in response to warm weather.
As for the conditions you have mentioned in your
introductory message, Jane McGary and Mary Sue (and a number of others) grow
very extensive collections in raised beds, a method that simplifies all
garden duties enormously.
