Scadoxus seed to bloom
Silverhill Seeds (Sun, 16 Feb 2003 04:06:46 PST)

Dear Doug
For Scadoxus multiflorus ssp katherinae in Cape Town it is about 3 years for
the first plants to flower, and at 4 years they all flowered.

To members who raise Scadoxus,

I am interested in how long it takes for you to have a Scadoxus seed to
bloom? My experience seems to be 5 years.

Any comments?

Doug
