Cyrtanthus--TOW

Mark,

do your Cyrtanthus and Haemanthus regularly receive a frost? We, also, had
a frost last night. Cologne is somewhat colder as the emerald isle, but not
by much (-8°C min). My plants are sheltered from frosts, which may be
unnecessary!

Ciao,

hi all

Here in the UK people have no problem getting C. elatus to flower. A

friend,

not a gardener, has one in an out building which flowers every year

without

fail even though it is rarely watered.

so frosty this morning it looks like snow leaving my Cytanthus and
Haemanthus collection is frozen solid. It was only -1 at 1am
