The "freeway daisy" use to be ice plant, you must be mistaken by the name Leptospermum-Tea Tree. Caltrans has been replacing the ice plant, where they can, with gazania and they also call it freeway daisy. Ann Marie So California

Hmmm. In Southern California, the "freeway daisies" are Leptospermum.
