Fragrance
Floral Artistry (Wed, 24 Dec 2003 09:37:35 PST)
Well, there are so many that it is hard to choose.
Probably at the top of my list would be Lilium
'Casablanca'. Not very original but it's such a
pleasure.
I also like hyacinths but, when they get old, phew do
they stink!
I also love the sublte fragrance of some of the hybrid
tulips (my favorite flower in case anyone wants to
send me a bouquet someday <grin>).
Could Brugmansia fit into this catagory? It has
somewhat fleshy roots. My B. 'Pink Beauty' has HUGE
flowers (over 12") and the most wonderful sccent
nearly every evening.
