Canna Seed

hi all

For interest I'll tell you how I germinate my seed which is different than
Uli. I hold each seed and cut a groove in to the shell using a small blunt
knife. I keep going until I see the white of the seed. I then soak the seeds
for 24 hours in water with a couple of drops of bleach. The seeds are then
sown with no heat into 4 inch pots one per pot. They are up in about 7-10
days. When the roots come to the edge of the compost I plant them outside
into my raised beds.
