I live in Northern Calif. I purchased a beautifublooming dierama about 4 years ago from Suncrest nursery. At that time I didn't evevn realize it was a corm. I took it out of the pot and planted it on the slope in front of my home. It has summer sun, shaded a bit in winter, good drainage, gets summer water there and only what nature provides in the winter. I was very disappointed the first 2 years as it did not bloom. However, this year it bloomed beautifully and has grown into a sizable clump. I took some of it out and gave it to a daughter who lives elsewhere. That's when I discovered it was a cluster of corms or bulbs. I still have a small clump left and assume it will continue to bloom. I disturbed it as little as possible when removing some for my daughter. Carolyn Craft
