I've found that Chasmanthes are the easiest to grow and very welcomed in my garden in winter when not much else is blooming, They multiply enough to divide everyother year, so I can share them with BX. Ann Marie, so calif

the underground rhizome. For Summer shade with Winter sun, they seem to be

Jamie, try sucking the flowers when they open, they're superb, much
sweeter
than clover. I look forward to sampling them every year.
In case anyone is looking at obtaining these because of you're
recommendation, the best quality bulbs I've ever seen in Europe have come
from Lauw de Jager. (Sorry Mary Sue, not an advertisement, but a fact).
