Arctotis and gazania
Nan Sterman (Tue, 02 Dec 2003 19:47:59 PST)
The gazanias reseed themselves but I've not had the arctotis do the
same. That said, however, arctotis are extremely easy to start from
cuttings.
BTW, gazania is so tough here that the states plant them along
highways. In fact, throughout the western US, gazanias are commonly
called "freeway daisies."

hi Nan
They are kind of perennial here too but don't come back in good shape. They
always struggle. It's our winter wet/damp that gets them. Do yours set seed?
They don't for me. I have to buy plugs every year or grow them from seeds.
My Gazanias can be seen here
