I'm a CP addict, too. D. are often easy from seed - ( maybe when fresh?) When you keep them in standing water, salt will build up and kill 'em if you don't water with salt free water (distilled or ...)(unless you rinse them often?). Half sand and half peat works too. I'm pretty sure, if you don't have any handy, live moss will develop over time on the surface of the peat. I wonder which ones are most outdoor hardy, how low can they go and how wet/dry do they like to be when extra cold. -- Kelly O'Neill Wet Rock Gardens Flower Farm U-Pick and more at the farm (open in Winter by appointment): 2877 N 19th Street Springfield, Oregon 97477 To contact us: gardens@wetrock.com http://www.wetrock.com/ (541) 746-4444 Business Office for mail or by appointment only: 1950 Yolanda AVE Springfield, Oregon 97477
