I have never found any tazetta fragrance to be unpleasant, yet I know some people who have. My observation is that it is at least partially a gender difference, with more women finding some of them unpleasant than men. The daffodil 'Fragrant Rose' is also perceived differently by different people. When I've displayed it in public, most men can detect the slight rosey fragrance; many women cannot. My female friends tell me that the men just don't want to admit they can't smell it! Bill Lee
