Advise on Alliums for Subtropical

Thad Howard's "Bulbs for Warm Climates" goes into great detail on humid
climate Alliums. Alas, most are collector's plants, not widely available
commercially. After this spring, I'll be able to report on the ones I'm
growing in this Mediterranean-ish climate, although I have a pretty good
idea of how they will turn out.
