Dear all: Scilla natalensis has been a very easy and dependable bulb for years in a bed raised 40 cm. It is dormant in winter and do not seem to mind our year round rains given the extra drainage. Foliage is quite attractive in a rosette and the bulbs grows partially out of the ground . These bulbs came from the late Wendy McClelland. The flowers are nothing like in Bill's image being a dull pale blue, hardly noticeable, so it is important to mention that not all flowers are the same attractive blue. Regards Alberto
