Is it permissible to post something that needs to be picked up (not mailed) right away, for people within driving distance? Today I dug up four (4) roots and stems of: WACHENDORFIA thyrsiflora, blood root/red root. The orange roots bleed bright orange (although will dye fabric blue!). Really tall and dramatic spire of yellow flwrs with nice seedpods. Foliage can spread wide, so might need to cut back every several years. Likes *damp*. Tolerating shade very well. My email is lindapwulf@gmail.com. I live in the Berkeley Hills in northern California. (Please only respond if you are going to plant immediately.) I can also dig up the following if there is local interest: CHASMANTHE floribunda 'Duckittii'. Bought from PBS exchange, Sept 18, 2017. Canary-yellow flowers. Crocosmia-like foliage starts in November and flowers appear from February to early April. WATSONIA beatricis. A hybrid from West Hills nursery, bugle lily; local name in South Africa is suurkanol. Evergreen, sun, year-round moisture, sandy soil. Watsonias are in the iris family; closely related to gladioli. Fuschia-PINK flwrs up to 3-4 ft shoot up suddenly in July. Divide regularly for better show, and keep removing spent stalks so flowers show well. _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net https://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> PBS Forum https://…
