I suspect it’s most likely due to his just getting older. I keep wondering if any younger people will take up the reins and start creating their own seed/plant mail order businesses. (I’d love it if this happened in South America, especially in the Andean countries of Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia!) I keep hearing mixed reports of whether young people are joining the ranks of plant hobbyists or not.
