I do like to hear opinions with data attached, even if not primary references. It reminds me that I was told the way to treat a wasp sting was to rub jewel weed on it and the sting will disappear. But another person told me to rub aloe vera on it and the sting will disappear. Since I always like to believe there is a grain of truth even in conflicting facts, the next time I was stung, I rubbed the spot, and sure enough, the sting disappeared.
