I’ve had a rat in my greenhouse, ravaging my bulb seedlings. It likes to pull them up and eat the bulb.

I’ve tried trapping, using grapes as bait. The trap has snapped on my fingers a few times, so I know it works. Obviously I’ve been using the wrong bait.
Last night I used a piece of toast instead of a grape and this morning - a dead rat. At last! I’ve reset the trap with another piece of toast, in case there is another rat in there.
