Air Pruning

I would guess root pruning pots are similar to the drying action of terra
cotta pots but not vitrified or glazed pots. Also, it might not be as big
an issue in dryer regions but eastern USA can be problematic for drainage
all year round.
I believe we all sympathise for your immediate threats of war as well as
your lack of good options and an increasing inability to even define them.
I feel it as our country writ small geographically but writ large in
intensity.
Best wishes
Tim
