I'm so glad Marlene was able to share those seeds, and I know Bob would be
grateful to you for passing them along, Mary Sue. Bob was the person who
figured out how to get that species to bloom. They need to be in the ground,
or in a very deep pot (like a foot deep, .3m). They also need to be dry in
summer. So if you're in a summer wet climate, a very deep pot is your only
way to go.

This was one of Bob's favorite species. It has lovely translucent white
flowers with yellow markings. They open only in late afternoon, for a few
hours, at the time of Vespers (evening prayers for many Christian churches).
Thus the name.
