My post pertains to the actual pot 'stake' itself. I only label items inside the greenhouses; I didn't think about outside. (The place I ordered from does have metal tags too.) The vinyl labels I plan to order are from http://www.nationalband.com/. The price is 6 cents each, which I believe to be a bargain if they last forever, for my purposes. I started collecting 20 years ago, and I want to replace all of my hand written tags. I never had an issue with the Pylon plastic pot stakes I used except that I would occasionally break them when something tipped over. I've bought plant labels since Pylon went out of business that have not lasted even a season. On the scale that I wish to relabel, the clear, matte labels for a laser printer versus the P-Touch will be the better option for me. I find peeling the backs frustratingly slow at times. I only wondered about testing the label material because the website said 'vinyl', the quote said 'plastic'. The person quoting did add in a note stating they are vinyl later in the morning. Below I've posted a random picture of my rather untidy front table. The tallest plant in the picture is ~6 foot Monadenium spectibile. https://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbsforum/index.php/… Best regards, Lisa _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> PBS Forum https://…
