I’ve had a couple of requests for more information about Klaus’
dissertation on the wonderful Ariolimax. It’s a cool bit of research.

The Foraging Ecology of the Banana Slug Ariolimax Columbianus, Gould
(Arionidae) Klaus Otto Richter
<https://google.com/search/…>,
University of Washington, 1987 456 pages

There are also papers in the scientific literature, which I may have a few
buried in my files somewhere. I’m hoping to get to the library soon to
take advantage of their subscription to JSTOR, so I can access more of the
scientific literature.

The last I knew, Klaus was the wildlife biologist for the city of
Bellingham (near Seattle). This discussion reminds me that I should get
back in touch with him.
