Short lived/recalcitrant seed

There are two people who are willing to help with seed that we can't
send to Jan. Some of us don't have time to distribute it ourselves and
hate to toss it, especially if it is seed that is not easily obtainable
and there might be people who want it. Maybe we could try it as an
experiment. If it is too complicated for PBS, perhaps it could just be
offered to the list. That would eliminate the spread sheet and having to
involve Arnold. Lisa and Robert could ask for a postage and handling
charge if they wished. In the last several years when I've given away my
seed a number of people on their own sent me a thank you note with money
for postage even though I didn't ask for it. So people may be willing to
reimburse them for the expense. I'll communicate with Lisa and Robert
privately about my seed. SomeĀ  Haemanthus seed is ready now and other
seed will be in a few days as it is starting to turn orange, but I
expect I'll have Nerine and Scadoxus seed when it might be too cold to
send to Lisa. If it turns out to work, maybe PBS could consider
sponsoring it in the future. And if it doesn't work, we will have at
least tried to find a solution.
