I’m sorry if my previous email regarding the seed exchange gave the impression PBS is no longer giving full postage credit for seed and bulbs submitted to the exchanges. We are absolutely giving you full credit for your postage costs, regardless of how you chose to send the items. We don’t expect to change this anytime soon. The purpose of my email was to make it clear that first class postage is usually fine, and cheaper, for mailing bulbs and seeds. On the west coast first class mail has been moving particularly well. I sent Robin a padded envelope of erythronium bulbs and it arrived the next day. She lives at least a four hour drive away. So apparently the pandemic problems with mail have been resolved. If you want postage credit, however you chose to send your package, make sure the envelope or box shows the postage amount or you let me know what you spent. Sometimes I get a box/envelope where the amount is missing or not legible.
