I had attended the sale a few times and always found a number of interesting things. They had an incredible collection of bulbs in the off-view collection, but only a limited amount was offered for sale. I didn't see anything particularly rare or unusual at the sales I visited, but they may have had some at others. The gardens included some really well-grown, nice sized Boophane, and I really enjoyed the SA bulb garden. The Androcymbium seemed to grow like weeds in that bed, though I still haven't been able to get them to grow myself at home. Unfortunately it’s been closed due to Covid 19 and it seems they may move or close the botanical gardens there anyway. Just wondering if any of the members had a chance to visit when it was open. Thoughts on the collection? I guess they even had an annual SA bulb sale each August at some point. If it does open at some point could be a nice opportunity for locals to SoCal to meet up and tour the Arboretum.
