Here's Veltheimia capensis taken yesterday in NE Coastal New Jersey -----Original Message----- From: Bob Guffanti via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> To: pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net Cc: Bob Guffanti <bobguffanti@comcast.net> Sent: Sun, Oct 31, 2021 12:29 pm Subject: Re: [pbs] pbs Digest, Vol 56, Issue 33 Replying to Ken P.: I bet the non-pictured plant is Veltheimia capensis. It blooms much earlier than bracteata. There’s not much to confuse it with. Even it’s foliage is distictive at a young age; it’s quite glaucous.
