Hello PBS, I think I am the one who donated the Hesperantha baurii. For me in Southern California, it is most definitely a winter grower and goes fully dormant in summer. I am attempting to attach a photo. Maybe it was mislabeled? I'm pretty sure I got it from the Huntington plant sale, and they are usually reliable. (I don't respond very often to this list, so I hope I am doing it correctly without including the whole digest and that the attached photo gets through.) - Laura Bauer in Ventura, CA ------------------------------ > > Message: 8 > Date: Sat, 20 Nov 2021 11:23:45 -0800 > From: Marc Rosenblum <ivanhoe3@charter.net> > To: Pacific Bulb Society <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> > Cc: Pamela Harlow <pamela@polson.com>, Ottoline Clapham > <ottoline_clapham@yahoo.com>, Arnold Trachtenberg > <arnold140@verizon.net> > Subject: Re: [pbs] Hesperantha baurii question > Message-ID: <046dedf5-56cc-6c3d-9b38-6c4ab54929c6@charter.net> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed > > I stand corrected!?
