Tulipa sprengeri is almost never offered as bulbs, because it doesn't increase much vegetatively. Mine were grown from seed; sorry, I didn't get any seed this year, perhaps becaues of the horrible heat event in June. This species flowers later than any other tulip I grow. Seed is almost always offered in the NARGS seed exchange. It takes about 3 years to flower from seed.
