Actually,Judy, they have been reclassified and are no longer miniature elephants. They used to be called relatives of manatee and aardvark, but now they are just hyrax. I thought they were cool till they began eating everything. They climb too and have killed grape Vines, apricot trees, loquat. They ate my habenero and cayenne peppers too. One bonus - I have seen them actually munching on Ailanthus leaves!
