Both the coloring and the shape of the petals indicate a hybrid. I have not grown the type variety, but it seems to be quite different from var. insigne. I think it is hard to know for sure if yours represents what it will be like next year, or if even the internet pics are representative. Variety insigne should have petals at least 2 inches long and be narrower overall. It is so different (according to internet pics) that it makes me wonder if the two are really varieties of the same species, or genetically farther apart. Insigne has very narrow bulbs. It would be interesting to compare yours when the time comes. See attachments.
