Now we're getting cynical. Next someone will suggest that we just need to tell CBP that Russians are sneaking in from Mexico to vote for Trump and the border will suddenly get protected!
Reminds me that the emerald ash borer entered Detroit in wood pallets carrying freight from China. The pest is now working its way south along the I-75 and fanning out from there, killing every ash tree in its path. But of course, CBP and APHIS don't inspect wood pallets. You can't make this stuff up.
