Ok, it turns out Roundup (name brand) has surfactant in it, but you can add a non-ionic surfactant to it. This is assuming you use the concentrate (38 to 45%), not the already mixed stuff which is, among other things, very expensive. Also generic forms of Roundup (glyphosate) have a surfactant added, but check the label. Detergent is considered a spreader/sticker but you can buy a spreader/sticker like non-ionic Hi-Yield brand etc. There seems to be disagreement about whether it interferes with the effectiveness of the herbicide/pesticide. As far as I'm concerned it's worth trying.
