Judy's reply regarding snipping off tops to allow herbicide to go into tubes of leaves is so sensible, I can hardly wait to try it! I'll also use a few drops of detergent as a sticker. In this case, some is good, more is better! I have a rampant spread of English? Bluebells or whatever they are and they're coming up everywhere, so crowded they mostly don't bloom. I can't wait to try this - the weatherman says we'll have dry weather for a few days...
